About Hours Calculator

Hours Calculator is a small suite of tools for adding up work hours: a quick single-shift calculator, a weekly and biweekly time card, and a printable timesheet template. They exist because adding up a week of shifts — with lunches, overnight stretches, and overtime — is easy to get wrong by hand.

How it works

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no server-side storage, and nothing is uploaded. Time card entries you type are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a page refresh, and the Reset button (with a confirmation) clears them.

Show-your-work results

The calculators show every step — gross time, each break deduction, the overtime split — so you can check the arithmetic against your own records instead of trusting a black box.

What it is not

These tools are for personal record-keeping and estimates. They are not a time clock, a payroll service, or legal advice, and they do not decide overtime eligibility or break pay rules — those depend on your employer and location.
